Subscription Terms of Service
Effective Date: 5.17.2023
By subscribing to any of the coffee subscription plans offered by Golden Triangle Coffee, you (“the customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Subscription Agreement
When you enroll in a subscription plan, you authorize Golden Triangle Coffee to charge your payment method on a recurring basis based on the frequency of the selected plan. You may modify or cancel your subscription at any time prior to your next scheduled billing date.
2. Product Fulfillment
With flexibility for roasting schedule, coffee will be roasted and shipped in accordance with the plan you selected. We strive to fulfill each order on schedule; however, fulfillment dates may vary due to factors such as holidays, severe weather, or changes in operational capacity.
3. Flexibility in Fulfillment
Golden Triangle Coffee reserves the right to adjust the timing, bundling, or packaging of subscription orders when necessary—including but not limited to disruptions caused by holidays, severe weather, or changes in service availability—so long as the cost per ounce and billing frequency remain unchanged.
This may include combining shipments for biweekly or weekly plans that are scheduled within 14 days of each other. Monthly or less frequent plans will not be bundled.
4. Modifying or Cancelling Your Subscription
Customers acknowledge and agree that all modifications or cancellations to their subscription plans must be completed through their online account using a desktop device. Golden Triangle Coffee cannot guarantee that customer service representatives will be able to make these changes on your behalf, as not all team members are authorized to modify subscriptions.
5. Failed Payments & Account Suspension
If your payment method is declined, we’ll attempt to process the charge again. After multiple failed attempts, your subscription may be paused or canceled. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information to avoid disruption of service.
6. Shipping & Address Changes
You are responsible for ensuring that your shipping address is accurate and up to date. Golden Triangle Coffee is not liable for lost or misdelivered shipments due to incorrect or outdated address information. Changes must be made prior to your next billing date via the desktop site to apply to future shipments.
7. Returns & Refund
At Golden Triangle Coffee, all coffee is roasted to order and therefore not eligible for return. However, if your order arrives with missing or damaged items, or there is an error in what you received, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to contact us for a replacement or refund.
To initiate a request, you’ll need to:
Contact our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your order
Provide your order number and a description of the issue
Attach photos of any damaged items, if applicable
We will review your request promptly and resolve the issue by either replacing the affected items or issuing a refund.
In most cases, subscriptions in need of replacement will ship bundled with the next recurring order.
8. Subscription Plan Discontinuation
Golden Triangle Coffee reserves the right to discontinue any subscription plan. In such cases, affected customers will be notified in advance and offered the option to transition to a comparable plan or cancel without penalty.
9. Subscription Pricing Changes
Subscription prices are subject to change at Golden Triangle Coffee’s discretion. However, any increase to the per-ounce cost of your subscription will only take effect after at least four (4) subscription orders’ worth of advance notice has been provided to you via email or other direct communication.
This ensures you have ample time to review, modify, or cancel your subscription before any pricing changes take effect.
10. Data Usage & Privacy
By subscribing, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal information is collected, used, and stored. Golden Triangle Coffee does not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the “Effective Date” at the top of the Terms will reflect the date of the latest update. By continuing to use the Services after any changes are made, you agree to the revised Terms.
