Pumpkin Spice Syrup

  1. To a small saucepan, combine dark brown sugar, pumpkin puree, salt, and pumpkin spice.

  2. Add water and bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to low and cover for 15 minutes to steep.

  4. Separate the syrup from the slurry using cheesecloth or your preferred method.

  5. In a small saucepan on low heat, add sweetened condensed milk and spiced pumpkin syrup.

  6. Heat gently to loosen and stir, avoiding boiling.

  7. Add vanilla extract and pumpkin spice extract.

 
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon finely ground pumpkin spice

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice extract
